10 seconds

As in sleep its back to basics really and in this project I have started making portraits with long exposure times (often up to ten seconds) and with little or no backgrounds.

there's a wonderful stillness that I have come to relish as the sitter stares intently and very quietly at the camera - the results are often quite blurred - personally i find this intriguing rather than distracting.
